Cheryl is a former professor of college-level writing and critical thinking who partners with professors and students of English and Spanish. She earned a PhD from the University of California and a TESOL Certificate from Arizona State University. Her specialty is the study of writing as communication and persuasion. She is working toward fluency in Spanish, and has some hacks for anyone taking on a new language. She usually has a cat in her lap.
